Transformative Reductions in Operational Energy Consumption (TROPEC)

If you have a technology that can reduce energy use at expeditionary military outposts located in tropical environments, then the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy wants to hear about it.

TROPEC or Transformative Reductions in Operational Energy Consumption is designed to test innovative operational energy-reducing technologies in a field environment. Innovations Network is the mechanism to solicit such technologies.

TROPEC is a focused program using innovation to solve energy challenges in the Pacific due to differing environments.

To submit your technology for evaluation, go to www.tropec.net.
